Treering creates yearbooks for the Internet generation. The Silicon Valley, CA-based technology company combines the efficiency of just-in-time digital printing and the collaborative power of online social networks to create personalized printed yearbooks that commemorate each child's unique school experience. The process reduces the yearbook creation and financial burden for schools.
As the Director of Finance reporting into the CEO, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future at Treering. This Director level position is a “hands on” role involving comprehensive oversight of financial planning, reporting, risk management, and investment strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in finance, capable of driving our financial performance and supporting our mission to create lasting memories for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage financial risks, including currency exchange, credit, and interest rates.
- Collaborate with other senior executives to shape the company's strategic direction.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, the introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.
- Manage existing finance team.
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Enhance and oversee the existing AR/AP process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA designation is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, financial regulations, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and implement solutions that drive business growth.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, including advanced Excel skills.
