We are looking for a responsible, detail oriented Administrative Assistant for a large apartment community. This is a full-time blended position which entails assisting the purchasing manager with ordering & material tracking as part of the administrative duties; and answering phones, following up on rental leads, processing rental applications, & various other office duties. The job will also require some travel to our other properties in the area.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Update various excel spreadsheets and maintain files for billing and unit cost tracking.
- Checking and answering email leads, and make follow up phone calls.
- Conducting tours with potential tenants and processing rental applications
- Following up on lease renewals of current residents.
- Creating and maintaining resident and unit files.
- Travel to other NY properties on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as an office admin assistant
- Working knowledge of office equipment, computers, printers, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
