The Inventory Associate represents S&L in inventory management of all packaging components used in warehouse and repack operations. The role will be responsible for auditing and reconciling stock movements and inventory levels, providing the required data needed to make purchasing decisions and optimize stock levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify, receive, and sign for packaging and supply deliveries, both physically and in Famous.
- Perform routine weekly cycle counts of repack floor and stockroom inventory.
- Perform annual and monthly physical inventory count.
- Assist with data entry work on ending inventory count.
- Ensure that inventory records are current and up to date; collaborate with Controller and procurement specialist to identify discrepancies and adjustments needed.
- Perform material transfers from “S&L Warehouse” to “WIP” in Famous, based on inventory count.
- Communicate packaging quality issues directly with the procurement specialist for further follow-up.
- Auxiliary support to procurement specialist.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years inventory control experience.
Competencies:
- Proficient knowledge of mathematics and inventory principles.
- Computer proficiency: complete familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and readiness to learn new customized software and systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English with a warm, personable telephone manner preferred.
- Bright, energetic individual with initiative, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced cold storage facility environment.
- High l level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency.

Pay: $45,702.00 - $54,459.00 per year
