What you bring
› Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
› Minimum of 2 years Accounts Receivable experience required, preferably in commercial real estate/property management.
› Experience with property management software. Yardi experience preferred but not required.
› Familiarity with commercial leases and be able to read and understand the leases
› Highly organized and detail-oriented personality along with a pleasant, professional demeanor.
› Proven ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in order to collaborate with our fast-paced property management team, sales force and clients.
› Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
› Deadline driven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as with others.
› Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.

What responsibilities of this role look like
› Process tenant and intercompany client payments in Yardi software
› Facilitate electronic banking
› Perform daily analysis, application and reconciliation of cash receipts and adjustments
› Research items received without advices and follow up directly with customers on proper payment instructions
› Monthly review and post recurring charges
› Maintain collections for delinquent accounts for commercial portfolios
› Coordinate tenant adjustments with accounting, leasing and legal
› Review late fees and apply as appropriate
› Process customer security deposits and releases
› Answers tenant inquiries about billing, security deposits, and other accounting related matters
› All other duties assigned
