- Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its Web/app hosting middleware infrastructure.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Possess excellent time management skills: (keeping deadlines, meeting goals, multitasking, coordinating tasks)
- Solid understanding of ITIL and LEAN operating model.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of Operating Systems like Windows, RedHat Linux and Cloud Technologies
- Strong hands-on experience in Middleware Technologies
- Infrastructure development experience on Ansible Chef/Puppet or related technologies with Unix, Windows PowerShell, SQL scripting knowledge
Build & Delivery Support
Description of the Service: Middleware Build and Delivery
Scope
The Onboarding team is positioned between the Solutions Architects/Project Managers/Application Team and BAU teams. Main scope of work is to build the Middleware products based on the build requirements obtained from the Business stakeholder and ensure the readiness for the BAU and support till the projects go live.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Design review discussion with Solution Architects/Application teams and other stakeholders and ensure standard build architecture is adopted for the new objects
- Update the Web/app Hosting Middleware requirement in SLTN and approve the request
- Once the Web/app Hosting Middleware server is released from platform team validate the server build and prerequisites for the Middleware Product Installation
- Coordinate with Build Factory team for middleware product installation and build.
- Validate the Middleware build and coordinate with tooling team to setup standard audit and monitoring tools
- Perform the post middleware build like Monitoring, Service Monitoring Dashboard and One Touch COB configuration
- Identify the repeated tasks and work with Engineering team and get it automated
- Preparing support hand-over checklist for releasing the system to BAU support after new build system is standardized/project live.
- Identify risks in the environment and develop controls and test for compliance and audit purposes.
- Performing High Availability and COB switchover test
- Remediating the GEM and VTM patches and Web/app Hosting Middleware vulnerabilities on time within the timelines given by the business.
- Diagnose complex OS, middleware, application, network connectivity, and SAN related issues with a focus on quick recovery, root ca use analysis, and prevention.
- Helping the application team on the application deployments
- Follow go-live check list and handover the Middleware builds to Operations teams once go-live.

Pay: $96,298.04 - $120,971.84 per year
