Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete quality electrical and electronic maintenance work.
- Repair production & processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex problems and implement solutions safely.
- Perform some installation work, and minor mechanical work on breakdowns and to help reduce or eliminate downtime.
- Assist other divisions of Maintenance department as needed.
- Adapt to new and changing technology.
Requirements:
- Must be able to function effectively under deadline and breakdown pressures and meet the physical demands of the job.
- Must be proactive in taking the initiative, and be able to work aggressively toward a goal of troubleshooting and repairing any in-house electrical and electronic automated equipment, down to the circuit board component level.
- Must have a courteous, friendly personality and professional demeanor.
- Good communication skills, ability to follow directions from management, keep management informed of progress or changes, work independently without continual supervision, and have management’s confidence to get job done right.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:
Qualifications:
- Prefer five or more years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electronic, electrical, computer, and automated process programming principles.
- Knowledge of PLC operations and programming strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management concepts.
- Understanding of the importance of continuous improvement and learning.
Required Skills:
- Fundamentals of industrial electronic components.
- Fundamentals of electrical distribution devices.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Basic discrete electronic repair skills.
- VFD set-up and operation.
- Functionality of scales.
- Substation operation.
Competencies:
- Able to work independently without direct supervision when required.

- Able to change and adapt quickly, especially to new technologies and methods
