Experience and Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is preferred

4 or more years of experience assisting Construction/Project Managers on construction project is required

Experience in the K-12 or Higher Education market sector in California is strongly preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong verbal, writing, and computer skills are required

Ability to perform construction quantity take-offs and assist with Change Order evaluations required

Strong understanding of the DSA approval and certification process is strongly preferred

Proficient user skills with the MS Suite of tools and Bluebeam are required

Working knowledge of standard industry tools such as P6 and Procore is strongly preferred

Knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, general construction principles, techniques, and site safety is strongly preferred
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly work in an office and or construction environment. Conditions regularly include exposure to outdoor elements, hot/cold temperatures, wet conditions, noise, atmospheric conditions, and cramped quarters. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly sit, stand, walk, talk or hear and use hands to finger, feel and handle; frequently reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must frequently lift and or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Travel Requirements
This position is site specific and will be executed at the project location in Long Beach, CA.

The annual base salary range for this role is currently $90,000 - $110,000. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members. The annual base salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, in the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
