Accountant with 4 years or more of public accounting experience. CPA certificate preferred.
Must have experience in individual, Partnership, and S-Corporation tax preparation. Experience in accounting for small businesses, and payroll laws.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
· Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure the accuracy of financial data
· Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in financial records
· Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
· Prepare tax returns and ability to review tax returns prepared by others.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· CPA designation preferred
· Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
