We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Equipment Operator to join our team. Experience Required
- Operating John Deere tractors is required.
- Previous experience operating farm equipment, preferably including harvesters, seeders, and balers
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and crop production techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons as required
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of farm equipment including harvesters, seeders, and balers, and other machinery as needed.
- Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.
- Follow established procedures and safety protocols while operating machinery and handling agricultural chemicals.
- Assist with crop planting, harvesting, and processing activities according to seasonal demands.
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Transport equipment to different fields and locations as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment storage facilities.
- Communicate effectively with farm management and fellow team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 80 per week
