Duties:
- Collaborate with students to assess their needs and develop individualized case management plans.
- Provide behavioral health support, motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, mentoring, and child welfare services.
- Assist students in accessing resources such as Medicare, workforce development programs, Section 8 housing assistance, and childcare services.
- Monitor student progress, conduct regular check-ins, and offer guidance to ensure academic and personal success.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to address student challenges effectively.
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation to track student development and outcomes.
Skills:
- Strong background in social work or related field.
- Proficiency in behavioral health practices and motivational interviewing techniques.
- Experience in addiction counseling and mentoring individuals.
- Knowledge of child welfare systems and support services.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and workforce development programs.
