Anatec is a series A funding company totaling $16 million which will bring necessary disruption to the identity and security market by providing an intuitive, rapidly deployable SaaS solution. The streaming solution offers real-time visibility, enabling users to discover, monitor and respond to the large threat surface exploited via service accounts. These threats include but are not limited to large standing privileges, shared use, lack of credential rotation and dormancy of an account.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. We are a cutting-edge cybersecurity company on a mission to revolutionize the way identity is used in security. Our founding team has more experience in customer-centric enterprise security, and innovative engineering than any competitor out there. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using best practices.
Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) to manage data efficiently and securely.
Implement and optimize GraphDB technologies to support complex queries and data relationships.
Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs to enable flexible and efficient data retrieval.
Design and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and TypeScript.
Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features and enhancements.
Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and management.
Hands-on experience with DynamoDB and familiarity with its best practices.
Proficiency in GraphDB technologies such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or similar.
Solid understanding and practical experience with GraphQL.
Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with TypeScript is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with other AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
