The Network Engineer II is a Full-Time, Regular position working Monday-Friday, day shift hours in Spokane, WA.
Summary: The Network Engineer II is to manage the data and telecommunication equipment in order to maintain smooth uninterrupted operations and workflow for Nuvodia and its clients. The Network Engineer II assists in maintaining existing systems, new system integrations, and implementations.
The Network Engineer II must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced office environment in meeting continual deadlines. The Network Engineer II must be able to handle multiple priorities with constant interruptions. Organization is essential in order to meet deadlines. A sense of urgency, the ability to make good decisions, and the prioritization of tasks is necessary.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Maintains operational health of client networks including switches, routers, and firewalls through routine support and maintenance.
- Utilizes remote management and support tools to monitor health of customer networks, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoots end user connectivity to network resources including file services, print services, domain services, enterprise applications, and cloud resources (e.g. Microsoft Azure and 365)
- Troubleshoots VPN, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and Wide Area Network (WAN) and other connectivity issues.
- Makes routine configuration changes to network hardware.
- Travels onsite to client locations, data centers and co-locations to perform hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Accepts escalations from more junior engineers and help desk staff.
- Provides coaching and mentorship to more junior team members.
- Troubleshoots network down incidents, attempts resolution or escalates to more senior engineer or hardware vendor as needed.
- Troubleshoots Windows OS
- Assists with network and data projects including new sites, refreshes, and enhancements
- Other duties as assigned
Occasional regional travel, weekend work and on-call rotation will be required.

- Rotates to other shifts and locations as needed
- Follows all Health and Safety policies and guidelines of Inland Imaging and its partners depending on work location

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Experience: Four years of related experience including--
- Two years of network administration including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strongly prefer experience with Fortinet (Firewall, Switch, etc.)
- Experience with telecommunication equipment, data & phone cabling, network security, wireless technologies, and familiarization with all Windows OS
- Previous experience working for a Managed IT Services (MSP) preferred
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or similar, NSE4 highly desired
- Drug Test: Eligible employees must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
