Are you an engineer looking for the next big step in your career? If so, you may be the perfect candidate for Jacobs’ opening to be a Reliability Engineer. As a Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability test plans for customer projects and conducting accelerated testing of circuit boards.
You will assist our team by:
- Performing basic environmental tests (e.g., vibration, mechanical shock, drop, temperature cycling, humidity, burn-in, temperature shock, and salt fog testing).
- Conducting data analysis using statistical software, such as JMP, to interpret testing results and provide recommendations or alternatives.
- Developing formal testing plans based on customer requirements and research, final reports summarizing testing efforts and data analysis, and briefings based on relevant technologies using technical writing and communication skills.
- Researching new technologies and testing techniques to identify potential new tools and capabilities for procurement.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Five (5) years of experience with reliability or environmental testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted.
- Active TS/SCI with poly.
