The Department of Educational Policy and Leadership is looking to hire a part-time adjunct instructor/lecturer to each the following course: History of Education (graduate level). Must be available to teach online. This graduate level course serves students across our graduate programs, including our doctoral program, Educational Policy and Foundations, and Educational Leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Teach weekly classes online and facilitate discussion.
2. Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and College of Education program evaluation system.
3. Maintain and submit accurate and current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance.
4. Maintain a student-oriented approach to education.
5. Provide opportunities to individual consultation and feedback for students in the course.
6. Uphold professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Doctorate Preferred, or Master’s Degree and substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Experience with higher or K12 education.
Excellent oral and written communication.
