Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
- Troubleshoot software applications for Windows and Mac systems.
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner and provide technical support across the company.
- Set up new workstations including installing software and configuring network settings.
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in analyzing and resolving technical issues related to desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Experience with mobile devices, operating systems (Windows, macOS), TCP/IP networking, and network administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, SCCM, Jira, and remedy ticketing system.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
