Assistant Director:
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the School with the School Director, and achieving Learning Care Group’s safety vision of “No One Gets Hurt.” In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the School. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under his/her care; and assists with a variety of administrative tasks and opening/closing the School at least 50% of the time
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Must meet state licensing requirements for education.
Must meet all standards and requirements relating to education and experience as set by the state and accreditation agent.
Minimum high school diploma. Preferred: bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development or related field.
Must have at least two years of experience in a licensed childcare center with at least one year as a Lead Teacher or supervising a childcare program.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Company standards to act as a Bus Driver
