Your Impact:
We are hiring a Linux System Administrator to support a program in Annapolis Junction, MD. This program will enable the Government to obtain subject matter expertise and highly technical assistance in building and maintaining prototype and niche analytics and tools; this contract will also enable the Government to maintain and document these prototypes and niche developmental efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain customer networks including infrastructure.
- Work as part of an engineering team comprised of approximately 10 personnel, each with specific tasking.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field plus 4-years of relevant experience, Master’s degree plus 2-years of relevant experience, Associate’s degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience must be in the installation or maintenance of network or telecommunications equipment and/or using specialized test equipment and network analysis tools (e.g., network management software, data analyzers, BERTS and OTDR).
Preferred:
- Linux system administration.
- Patching, scanning for security vulnerabilities.
- ATO renewals.
- POAMs.
- Stand up machines for specific uses, tear down when complete.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and A certificates are preferred.
