**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, as well as performing various machining tasks. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. The CNC Machinist will play a critical role in our production process, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety. **Responsibilities:** - Operate and maintain CNC machines, including setup, programming, and monitoring for optimal performance. - Perform machining tasks, including turning, milling, grinding, and drilling, to produce high-quality products. - Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. - Use hand tools and other equipment to perform tasks, such as deburring and polishing. - Utilize CAM programming software to create and edit CNC programs. - Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth production and meet deadlines. - Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to prevent downtime. - Keep accurate records of production, including machine usage, production quantities, and quality control checks. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve product quality. **Requirements:** - Experience with CNC machining and operation of CNC machines. - Strong understanding of machining principles and practices. - Proficiency in CAM programming software. - Familiarity with SolidWorks and GD&T. - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. - Experience with hand tools and forklift operation. - Knowledge of plastics injection molding and its applications. - Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality control. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
