The Warehouse Operator assists with the daily operations of the warehouse facility, ensuring efficient management and achievement of goals and deadlines. This role involves providing customer support internally and externally by creating orders and delivering supplies and materials to various TCSO locations. Key responsibilities include rotating stock and food supplies, ensuring product freshness through quality control measures, and maintaining food and product safety standards. The Warehouse Operator also conducts inventory control audits, operates a supply inventory database, and serves as a liaison with vendors, contractors, and professional staff.

This is a job classification in the Skilled Trades job family. This classification is responsible for the day to day operational functions of a departmental warehouse facility that includes both food and operational supplies. This classification may require a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the department.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or G.E.D. AND five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in warehouse operations or related field, including one (1) year of lead experience;

Any combination of education and experience that has been achieved and is equivalent to the stated education and experience and required knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this job.
Licenses, Registrations, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
Valid Texas Driver's License.
Forklift certification.
