Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge to oversee pharmaceutical operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires expertise in various pharmacy settings, including IV infusion, pediatrics, critical care, ICU, and emergency room environments.
Duties:
- Manage daily pharmacy operations and staff to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services
- Ensure accurate medication dispensing and administration
- Conduct utilization reviews to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with medical teams on patient care plans
- Provide expertise in medical management and medication therapy management
- Oversee inventory control and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Prior experience in IV infusion, pediatrics, critical care, ICU, and emergency room settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize patient safety and quality care
