The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will manage nursing operations and provide oversight for treating high-acuity patients on a high-volume vent unit. This ideal candidate will utilize transferable skills from prior acute care experience.

Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of patient care and resident care in accordance with individual resident care plans. Help manage high acuity patients and a high volume vent unit.
- Lead, and Manage the nursing team while holding them accountable to the standards set forth, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- New Team members: Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of nursing staff.
- IDT Coordination: Work with hospitalists, pulmonologists, therapy, dietary team to ensure patients need are met and/or exceeded.
- Implementation/Execution: Assist the Director of Nursing in implementing new plans, procedures and policies.
Assistant Director of Nursing Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure, BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or management role, acute care experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of resident care regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Nurse Work Schedule: Full-time. 8-hour or 12-hour shifts available.
