Description:
We are looking for a strong and aggressive sales person to join our outside sales team! This role is focused on expanding our customer base for the Route Consultant Purchasing Alliance (RCPA). As part of the Patton Logistics family of companies, our RCPA team is looking for people with fuel card or logistics industry experience ready to take on new territories and opportunities. The ideal outside sales personality is results driven, intrinsic motivation, and ready to hit the ground running.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

Strong phone presence generating new business leads through research, networking and cold calling

Conduct outside sales calls with efficient information gathering along with follow up to build rapport and secure new business contracts

Track and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategy and achieve targets, including competitive analysis

Make recommendations for new lead sources as knowledge and familiarity with the industry develop

Collaborate with the internal team to develop proposals and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our services

Develop and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their needs and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction

Attend industry events, conferences and network functions to build relationships and establish new business opportunities

Some travel within the U.S. may be required
Knowledge / Skills
-
Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years relevant outside sales or business development experience

Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities

Understanding of transportation and logistics industry is a plus
-
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) is a plus
