Summary
The Broaddus Companies is seeking a talented Business Development Executive to join our team and family culture environment in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for our owner’s representative division (Broaddus & Associates), planning division (Broaddus Planning), technology division (Broaddus Technology), and self-defense division (Broaddus Defense). In addition, the Business Development Executive will be responsible for managing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts. Besides gathering information on potential new markets/clients that could lead to new revenue, this role will build relationships with potential customers/partners and help close deals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall leadership and management of all strategic Business Development and new Customer Relationship activities in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
- Strong understanding of company services as well as business and competition to keep business competitive.
- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
- Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline.
- Maintaining client activities in marketing database.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
- Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole.
- Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in a business development role required.
- A/E/C experience or owners representative experience strongly desired and needed for this role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to initiate and develop personal and professional relationships in the industry.
- Proven leadership skills used to identify key internal personnel and drive the pursuit efforts forward while maintaining the ultimate needs of the Owner.
- Able to travel up to 25% around Dallas-Fort Worth or the State of Texas.
- Local candidates to the Dallas-Fort Worth area preferred, but not required.
