Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Firmware Developer to lead our firmware team. This individual will play a crucial role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our firmware, which is central to our fleet management system. If you are a proactive leader with extensive experience in C++ and C# and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and stable firmware, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the firmware development team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain firmware written in C++ and C#.
- Proactively envision and implement improvements to the firmware.
- Manage version control and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and testing procedures are in place.
- Work extensively with CAN bus and serial connectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with other system components.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in firmware development to continuously improve the quality and performance of our products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in firmware development.
- Proven expertise in C++ and C#.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a development team.
- Extensive experience and knowledge with CAN bus and serial connectors.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Excellent understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of Java is a bonus.
