Job Summary:
Our FOH management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment. This role involves managing staff, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
2. Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Address any employee conflicts or issues promptly.
- Helping bridge FOH and BOH issues.
- Supporting servers, bartenders, barbacks, food runners, and bussers in every day duties, including running food and bussing when needed.
3. Customer Service:
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback.
- Train staff on proper customer service techniques.
-Touching tables during service, solving their problems and concerns.
4. Financial Management:
- Performing either opening financial duties or closing financial duties as scheduled, including making deposits as needed.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Prepare reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement cost-control measures.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits.
6. Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems).
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
7. Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
