Principal Thermal Engineer (Space Industry)
Do you dream of shaping the future of space travel? Join a trailblazing Seattle-based space startup, solving the critical challenge of in-space mobility alongside a visionary founder who has collaborated with tech titans like Elon Musk and Paul Allen.
As the Principal Thermal Engineer (Propulsion), you'll be a thermal authority, utilizing your expertise to design, analyze, and test the thermal and fluid systems that power spacecraft. You'll ensure these systems operate flawlessly on time, and within budget, all while meeting rigorous technical requirements. This is your chance to make a real impact, with the autonomy and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Will consider strong thermal engineers with extensive nuclear or Oil & Gas boilers or heat exchange experience in lieu of spacecraft experience**
**Presently using Thermal Desktop but more than open to Femap or Nastran as they will be switching to an all Siemens package**
This is ideally a hybrid/remote role for a Seattle based candidate. However, for the right West Coast based person they may consider 100% remote with some designated travel to meet and engage with team members in the Seattle area.
Requirements:
