Chase Travel, a part of Connected Commerce, is hiring for a new role focused on developing strategy and content for our travel business.
As a Vice President, Social Media within Chase Travel, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for comprehensive social media content focused on hotels, destinations and experiences. You will manage the strategy and oversee the execution of all organic social media for Chase Travel, working with the editorial team and content studio partner to create high-quality organic content that inspires, guides and informs passionate travelers. Job Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to establish an ongoing content strategy, and oversee creative development and best practices.
- Define and track growth and engagement goals, while implementing strategies to achieve them.
- Build and manage Chase Travel’s organic content calendar in coordination with the overall editorial and marketing strategy.
- Proactively evolve Chase Travel’s social media approach, including experimenting with new content formats and expanding to new channels to find new audiences and consumers.
- Provide demonstrated expertise in travel social media, regularly identifying market trends, algorithmic adjustments, and associated content opportunities.
- Facilitate strong working relationships and open collaboration across a cross-functional team that includes editorial, brand, marketing, experiences and PR.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a team supporting and driving growth of Chase Travel social media.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 7+ years in travel social media and/or editorial.
- 3+ years in a social media leadership role.
- Extensive experience with social management and analytics tools, including Sprinklr.
- Ability to effectively oversee all elements of organic social media strategy with a high level of independence.
- Knowledge of the evolving travel space, including popular and trending hotels and destinations.
- Experience producing content within a complex, highly regulated corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through leadership and influence of cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in creating detailed reports, summarizing findings, and delivering clear, compelling presentations to leadership.
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects at once, and deliver under tight deadlines independently.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- A strong eye for high-quality visual content, including the ability to create and critique professional-quality video for social media.
- Experience with Asana and/or other project management tools.
- Ability to travel often, both domestically and internationally, for content production.
- Bachelor’s degree.
