We are a growing, ambitious company with a passion for health and fitness and sharing that passion with our clients. The Personal Trainer position requires a person that is dedicated to every client, with high attention to detail in not only exercise form but the execution of overall health/fitness goals. The role will be challenging in a variety of ways, and requires a person capable of multi-tasking.
The position offers anywhere from 5 - 40 training hours per week. The hours are determined by the candidate's availability, as they have the option to create their schedule. There is a 90 day probation period.
The following is expected of the candidate:
- Personal Training certification.
- Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy.
- Train clients safely & effectively in a manner consistent with their exercise history and capabilities.
- Ability to coach and motivate clients effectively.
- Knowledge of group fitness dynamics.
- Previous experience in fitness sales or related field.
- Assist clients with proper nutritional guidance.
- Timely follow up with both prospective and existing clients.
- Participate in various marketing activities for the company.
- Complete in-house training.
- General maintenance & upkeep of facility.
- Be punctual & reliable.
The ideal candidate would live no further than 20 minutes from the facility.
Expected commission for a trainer after 90 days is $60k/year.
