GameGuard, a fast-growing hunting, fishing, and lifestyle apparel and accessory company, is seeking a hands-on, creative Director of Marketing with a strong leadership style to join our team.
This individual will create a strategy that aligns with company goals. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can contribute to existing B2B and B2C marketing programs while developing new initiatives in a two-person Marketing team.
The candidate will initiate and handle a wide range of marketing strategies and will hire and manage contractors, personnel, and programs which include campaigns that support:
- Growth
- Branding
- International Strategies for Mexico and Central America
The Director of Marketing Strategy must be an organized multitasker that handles many diverse projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Oversee, Plan or Create:
- Set and monitor KPI that support GameGuard initiatives
- Color correction, retouching, resize images using Adobe Photoshop
- Concept, write, and produce graphics for weekly B2B and B2C emails, social media, ads, and retargeting campaigns.
- Must have experience creating IG posts with Shop Now integrations, IG Reels, FB paid ads, and FB carousel posts using item tags and Shop Now links
- Create descriptive product text for our Shopify eCommerce stores and Amazon
- Coordinate GameGuard’s Influencer Program
- Regularly report campaign results and make adjustments as required to ensure success
- Design, write and produce sales and marketing support materials
- Coordinate the dissemination of marketing communications
- Coordinate photo and video shoots, including working with photographers, and videographers, the final image, and product selection
- Create and update GameGuard’s Product Catalog, Price Lists, and Order Forms through Adobe Illustrator
- Maintain GameGuard’s Loyalty Rewards program
- Experience with product photography using ghost mannequins is a plus
- Contract marketing vendors or third-party contractors as needed
- Analyze and summarize monthly marketing analytics
- Other tasks as assigned
Other Skills & Competencies Needed for Success in the Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
- 5+ years of work experience as a hands-on marketing professional
- Familiarity with the Outdoor Lifestyle, including hunting and fishing
- 5+ years marketing inventoried products
- Two years of experience in content writing, marketing, copywriting, or a similar
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to own the content development process from ideation to publication
- Knowledge of traditional, digital, content, influencer programs, and social media marketing
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Klaviyo, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics
- Basic understanding of Shopify
- Expertise in Business Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat
- Management of PPC Advertising
- Strong Graphics creation and video editing skills are a plus
- High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills

Pay: $93,379.00 - $104,680.00 per year
