Amentum is seeking Network Administrators to join our team and support our Washington, DC customer. We are looking for team members who are passionate about making a difference by working on critical efforts we manage as a premier government contractor.
We are pipelining candidates for a future role.
This position is associated with shift work as the site requires 24 hour coverage. There are 3 shifts – day shift (0600-1430), swing shift (1400-2230), and mid-shift (2200-0630).

Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis, administration and support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks
- Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures
- Manage the Enterprise Network for resource availability
- Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI's) as directed and interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance
- Provide After Action Reports (AARs) for Problem Management resolution
- Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment
- Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures, standards, installations, upgrades, testing, and associated documentation
- Mentor and train end-users and less-experienced network personnel

Compensation & Benefits:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $130,000 - $145,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Minimum Requirements:
- PhD degree in an IT/network related field
- Or a Master’s degree in an IT/network related field, and at least 2 years of network administration experience
- Or a Bachelor's degree in an IT/network related field, and at least 4 years of network administration experience
- Or an Associates degree in an IT/network related field, and at least 6 years of network administration experience
- Or a High school diploma/GED, at least 8 years of network administration experience
- Possess a DoD 8570 IAT II certification (which includes either a Security+, CCNA-Security, CySa+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, and/or SSCP certification)
- Possess a CCNA certification or equivalent (i.e. JNCIA or higher certification such as CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS, and/or GVF)
- Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain a polygraph after hire. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) environment
