Position Summary:
The Repair Installation Technician requires a hardworking, resourceful, and technical self-starter experienced in product assembly and repair. This person will be responsible for responding to repair calls and local installations in and around South Florida. The person in this role will play a key position in the launching of new Equinox products by going on site to oversee installations on an as-needed basis. The travel required will be domestic with the possibility of international travel as well. This person will need to gather technical data while on site to bring it back to HQ for reasons of improving product and product installation for the customer. This person will need to trouble-shoot all technical issues that occur in the field. Professionalism and ability to think and solve problems quickly and handle pressure while interacting with clients is critical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver and install Tuuci product for local clients.
- Inspect broken or faulty products in the field and report back to HQ the parts needed, and labor hours needed for repair via CRM software.
- Determine if broken product merits warranty coverage.
- Work with Customer Service to help trouble shoot product issues.
- Train local customers on product operation, as needed.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with customers, able to handle sensitive or VIP clients with discretion and professionalism.
- Be the “face of Tuuci”, out in the field and always maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized repair shop and Tuuci vehicle and follow established procedures regarding truck usage.
- Handle all in-house repairs.
- Assist with training staff on product knowledge.
- Travel to customer sites to oversee product installation.
- Gather data to bring back to HQ.
Education/Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Relevant warehouse experience within the last two years preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Experience and comfort working with limited assistance on customer sites, using tools, and dealing professionally at all levels of customer organization. Technical ability a must. CDL preferred. Able to travel when needed.
Language Ability: Ability to read and write English/Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Computer Skills: MS Office; Outlook a must; Ability to use a Smartphone.
Certificates and Licenses: CDL preferred.
