Midwest Foods is a wholesale food distributor providing top quality food
products to numerous food establishments in Chicago, surrounding suburbs,
Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana. Family owned and run company for two
generations, we import fruits & vegetables from all over the country and
other parts of the world to distribute these products to local markets. We are
looking to complement our growth by selecting staff that will enhance our
company’s mission to provide quality service and products. Midwest Foods is
looking to hire an Administrative Assistant.
Mon-Fri 9am-530pm
Responsibilities:
Invoicing all delivered tickets
Scanning all delivered invoices
Sorting invoices in file cabinet in the front office according to date
Collecting checks from drivers and scanning into bank
Sorting and filing paperwork to send to and from Kenosha
Swapping Kenosha bin from back dock
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Support customer service by entering orders and answering phones
Support diverse projects for other employees
In addition, any other relative job duties
Requirements:
Proficient using a PC or Mac as well as Microsoft programs
Strong phone presence and active listening skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Great attention to detail
Proven customer support experience
Experience in data entry and navigating databases
Flexible to work evenings and overnights, as well as holidays
Typing skills 60 wpm
High School Diploma preferred
