We are seeking an experienced, hardworking prep cooks, and line cooks to join our team. The ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work in close proximity to other employees. This position requires lifting, and standing for long hours, and involves working with sharp tools, so we're interested in speaking to individuals with a strong work ethic and a history of safety when handling food prep.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Executive Chef to prepare ingredients per chef's directions.
- Prepare desserts according to recipes and chef's directions.
- Prepare foods according to recipes and chef's directions.
- Prepare side dishes.
- Have knowledge of kitchen safety protocols.
- Learn how to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, food, tools and equipment.
- Be able to explain dishes to wait staff and customers.
- Anticipate customer needs by monitoring customer habits; learn their names; ask about food allergies.
