Job Overview:
Mad Science is looking for a results-oriented Operations Manager with a driven mindset to join our Chicago Corporate franchise location. In this role, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily business operations, driving growth, and ensuring operational efficiency. We are looking for a leader who can implement strategies, build strong relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts to drive growth and achieve business objectives, including ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director to set and achieve business growth projections.
- Build and motivate a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
- Monitor budgeted financial benchmarks and take corrective action as necessary to meet targets.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate operational achievements.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, and other stakeholders in the education industry.
- Oversee programming staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality educational experiences for children.
- Utilize quantitative analytics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Conduct Corporate presentations, effectively communicating key messages and objectives.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients and participants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful management or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on project timelines and deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Technically savvy with the ability to adapt to new technologies and software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people.
- Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies, drive growth, and foster innovation.
- Experience in business development, partnership building, and customer relationship management.
