As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of strategic marketing and communications initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of Saint Mary's College. Job Description
The Marketing and Communications Assistant will process invoices for payment, track expenses, assist in monitoring department budgets, prepare expense and purchasing card reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities, and perform clerical tasks such as maintaining records and files; scanning and copying materials; making appointments and arranging meetings; managing incoming and outgoing mail. The assistant will update basic content on the website and track key website analytics.
The Marketing and Communications Assistant will assist with project management and coordination, including updating and maintaining project calendars and communications with College partners, and prepare and send recurring email campaigns using iModules email software. The assistant will have a working knowledge of the use and maintenance of office equipment, including printers, computers, software, etc, and assist in tracking key department technology, such as cameras, lights, department cell phone, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma required; some college or other training preferred
- At least three years of administrative assistant experience or similar
- Excellent organizational skills
- A demonstrated ability to respond to requests and proactively support program and project needs within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with effective written and oral communications
- Eagerness to learn new skills and software
- The ability to project a positive and professional public image
- Experience in a service-oriented position, requiring interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in social media and web-based applications, such as Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop
- Proficiency on both Macintosh and PC platforms
Schedule
40 Hours/ 12 Months/ Monday – Friday
