Certified Medical Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
- Take patient vital signs and record medical history
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Assist with chart prep
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
-Pediatric experience is a plus.
-ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
-knowledge of pediatric vaccines preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems/ EPIC knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
