South Central Community Action Program (SCCAP) is a nonprofit social service agency that works to provide opportunities for low-income individuals and families to achieve personal and economic independence.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Energy Auditor / Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED; supplemented by a reasonable knowledge of residential construction and tools. Previous experience in carpentry, construction, contracting, home rehabilitation, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job will improve a candidate’s chances and reduce training time.
- Some knowledge of residential HVAC systems and the ability to learn necessary fundamentals as program requires.
- Skilled in the use of computers for email, virtual meeting apps, Microsoft Office (mostly Excel spreadsheets and Word documents), as well as the ability to learn some specialized energy auditing software.
