Veterinary Receptionist
JobSummary
1) Provides courteous service to clinic clientele.
2) Prepares client and patient records and records into computer.
3) Makes appointments, greets clients, prints daily schedule.
4) Escorts clients to exam room, collects fees.
5) Processes invoices, rabies and health certificates.
6) Admits and releases patients, makes cage I.D. cards, and prepares discharge instructions.
7) Files paperwork, records and reports lab results.
8) Prepares health cards, puppy and kitten kits.
9) Does reminders, letters, and recalls.
10) Maintains reception and lobby areas.
11) Provides information and educational materials to the public.
12) Prepares medications.
13) Keeps exam and surgery rooms clean and stocked.
14) Provides surveillance of kennel area and animals therein.
15) Provides support by cleaning tables, and cages and animal restraint when necessary.
16) Adheres to and promotes hospital policies and procedures at all times.
JobQualifications
- Education:2 year degree in either Animal Science, Vet Tech, Business or higher.
- Experience: At least 2years of clinical/administrative experience.
- Other: Familiarity with Veterinary software
