ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Project Coordination:
- Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and resourcing projects to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist in managing project deliverables in line with the project plan, monitoring progress, and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Documentation Management:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, contracts, and correspondence to ensure all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact for clients, suppliers, and contractors, facilitating effective communication and ensuring client needs are met.
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
Site Management:
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Address and resolve on-site issues, providing technical and practical solutions to maintain project momentum.
Financial Oversight:
- Help monitor project expenditures and budgeting, ensuring projects remain within financial targets and identifying potential financial risks.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all aspects of the project adhere to VIVA Railings’ standards of quality and safety.
Industry Knowledge Development:
- Continuously research and stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance project outcomes and innovative approaches.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Project Management team, aiding in various tasks to streamline project activities and enhance team productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the railing or construction industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with railing systems and construction safety standards is highly beneficial.
