Senior Accountant
Perfetto is seeking an Senior Accounting in the construction industry that has experience in accounting and developing special solutions designed to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability. We seek someone with a reputation for creative problem-solving, dedication and integrity. The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
As a Senior Accountant specializing in construction, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Job Duties:
- Serve as the corporate accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements on the corporate side.
- Review and audit financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Handle journal entries, accounts payable (A/P), and process cash receipts. This includes overseeing invoice processing.
- Manage books and internal accounting processes. While bookkeeping skills are expected, they should come as second nature.
- Utilize your experience in subsidiary and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records.
- While not required, prior experience in construction manufacturing will be advantageous.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and reports.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit, and general accounting functions.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- While not required, experience within the construction industry or construction manufacturing is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Base Salary:
$100,000/yr - $130,000/yr
