A full-time position for an ophthalmic assistant or ophthalmic technician is available in a busy Ophthalmic Practice in Northwest Tucson and Oro Valley. Previous optical, optometric or ophthalmic experience is desired and certifications as a COA or a COT are a plus.
Responsibilities of the clinic ophthalmic technician include the following:
-patient histories
-refracting
-scribe documentation
-performing diagnostic testing.
Requirements of the Position are:
-A background in electronic health records is preferable.
-The candidate should enjoy working with the public, display enthusiasm, and must be able to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable in all aspects of eye care including cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea diseases.
Salary is dependent on experience and a strong benefits package is offered.
