A Maintenance Technician enjoys the routine of cleaning the same pools each week. Their discipline and attention to detail allows them to provide the pool with a thorough cleaning each time. While the majority of the work is performed solo, this person can work well with a team and is a confident communicator who isn't afraid to inform the customer of any potential issues.
This position offers both hourly and commission pay. If you enjoy working on your own while you listen to music and maintain pools - this is the job for you!
Route Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities
- Take home vehicle provided
- Manage a route of 40 - 50 pools depending on experience
- Properly test pool water chemistry
- Chemically treat pool water
- Check and clean skimmer basket, pump basket and empty pool cleaner bag.
- Vacuum and brush pool, tile, walls, and floor.
- Clean pool filter(s) as needed
- Skim, vacuum, and brush pool
- Report/communicate issues or problems with customer’s pool to homeowner/route manager by phone, text or note.
- Maintain a clean truck
Compensation
- Hourly pay (for training and PTO days)
