The essential functions of the Grill/Line cook is to prepare quality orders in a timely manner. Restocking, sanitizing work areas and following safety rules are essential to successfully operating the grill station.
Responsibilities:
- Properly storing food in designated areas following all labeling, dating, food safety guidelines and rotation procedures
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, appliances and work areas to ensure sanitation
- Preparing grilled food on flat-top grill and deep fryer ensuring that all food items are served at the required temperatures
- Ensuring proper and consistent food portioning
