Job Summary: Shipping specialist is responsible for working with the Warehouse Manager to maintain the flow of goods and services through the entire company. Work with a TMS and ERP system to schedule and enter shipments including UPS, USPS, FedEx, LTL, and full truckloads. Shipping specialists also maintain inventory levels of finished product as well as setup and monitor delivery appointments for raw and finished goods.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Manage delivery appointments with carriers or 3PL’s to maintain flow of inbound/outbound goods
- Receipting all finished goods and raw material accurately while effectively utilizing available space
- Coordinating daily with internal personnel to meet ship dates and requirements
- Performing cycle counts on a weekly, monthly, annual basis and reconciling the accounting records to the finished goods and raw material lots
- Assisting with loading/unloading of inbound/outbound goods as needed
- Maintaining a well-organized warehouse, providing a safe, clean environment
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- Highschool graduate or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Forklift and roll-clamp experience preferred but not necessary
- Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent walking between production areas
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times, repeatedly
