First Secure Bank Group is the holding company for three bank charters. Due to our growth, we are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to assist the VP of Human Resources in administering and implementing various human resources programs. If you have a passion for HR, are familiar with labor law and look to kickstart your career in the field, this is the place to be. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks including assisting with payroll, timekeeping, benefits and recruiting. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Processing bi-weekly payroll using ADP WFN.
- Time clock system management. Become the time clock system expert and become the point of contact for employees on the system. Make sure that the system is accurately set-up, maintained and working properly. Train new hires on system use. Follow up with employees on time clock system issues as needed. Administer compensation and benefit plans
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Assist in conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
- Undertake tasks around performance management
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Skills
- Requires the ability to maintain confidential information and maintain professional standards.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Previous experience processing payroll using ADP WFN.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes
- BS/BA in Business administration or equivalent experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
