Main aim of job
- Guaranteeing and maintaining of the availability of the production, quality and building equipment
- Carrying out of overhaul, rebuild, service and repair tasks including the reduction of the maintenance costs
- Support of the continuous improvement process through putting proposals into actions
Specific duties and responsibilities
- Repair of assembly and material handling equipment
- Servicing and preventive maintenance of assembly, material handling equipment according to service instructions and control instructions
- Rebuilding and improvement of assembly equipment (root cause analysis and improvement)
- Creation of operating manuals, service instructions and control instructions for the production equipment
- Detailed recording of the fulfilled tasks on a daily basis in SAP
- Effective coordination and execution of the assigned tasks and workorders
- Responsible for meeting the OSHA/safety requirements in the work area - maintain as required
- Proposals for job related and organization related improvements
- Ensure quality, effectiveness, cleanliness and keep your responsible area in order
- Use of tools for calibration
Organizational interfaces including related tasks
- Participation in shift hand overs and team meetings
- Production Teams (Quality, Industrial Engineer, Logistics, Line Lead,…..)
Formal education / course of study
Technician, High School, Apprenticeship Mechatronic,
Professional experience (years, function)
3 years experience in a maintenance department in the automotive industry,
Specialized knowledge and skills
- Technical knowledge and skills in electric, electronic, SPS (Siemens), CNC, robot technique, electric hydraulics, electric pneumatics, measuring technique, power drive technique, BUS systems (ASI, Profi)
- Experience in highly automated production equipment
- Experience in TPM, KAIZEN, Poka Yoke, continuous improvement
- EDP knowledge (SAP R3, MS-Office),
- Independent decision making with high risks for the protection of the production process
- Service orientated thinking and taking of actions
- Assertiveness, creativity, team work mentality, capable of setting priorities
- Early indentification of problems
- Ability to take care of project related work
- Ensure compliance of quality systems to all required standards including customer specific requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
