Job Description: Contribute to the continued growth and success of the company focused on customer demand creation, new customer acquisition and new business development within assigned territories and focused markets/industries.
Markets/Industries: Direct food contact (primary packaging) packaged on Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) or Horizontal Form Fill Seal (HFFS) equipment.
Develop business/marketing plan with a focus on lead generation, market penetration objectives and time line goals. Create and Review Going to Market strategy with Sales & Marketing Manager and VP of Sales & Marketing. Manage tactical activities such as build a strong pipeline of opportunities, set up customer facing meetings, and attend and support trials. Grow customer potential in correlation with our company’s core values and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan schedule to maximize on developing and modifying the business / marketing plan.
- Focus on execution of strategy objectives such as film/product portfolio creation, marketing collateral, and production asset planning.
- Effectively convey our company profile, values, programs, and capabilities.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis for potential/existing clients to connect with their initiatives and goals.
- Set appointments for introductions, presentations, follow-ups, trials, etc., that is consistent with business/marketing plan.
- Keep sales management well informed with comprehensive information on any important sales and account developments, whether positive or negative.
- Participate in weekly sales calls and quarterly sales meetings.
- Participate in industry trade shows as assigned.
- Communicate market changes and new developments to clients.
- Continually keep prospects/clients informed of the latest company advancements and offer solutions to prospects/clients where areas of improvement are identified.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Understand and apply the principles and procedures required by the job.
- Ensure all procedural requirements are collected and prepared in a complete and accurate fashion and channeled properly for review/processing.
- Provide and report detailed information on new samples, and keep management informed of all product trial results throughout each stage of our qualification protocol.
- Consistently send itineraries to our established distribution list and update management on the results of travel.
- Keep pipeline/CRM tool up-to-date and ready for review at any time.
- Maintain a high level of organization/discipline in all aspects of responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 to 10 years of industry experience in primary packaging (FFS) required
- Direct product knowledge in FFS industry required
- Target industry exposure without direct product experience considered
