The primary purpose of this position is to: Represent tax clients in the South
Texas area in legal matters, direct collection activities/progams and manage
Corpus Christi office staff.
1. Provide legal advice and representation to the Firm’s Corpus Christi office
tax clients.
2. Representation includes trial work.
3. Direct collection campaigns/programs and report performance to the
Firm’s Corpus Christi office tax clients.
4. Travel to and attend court dockets.
5.Travel to and visit clients and elected officials on a regular basis.
6. Travel to and attend conferences and entertain clients.
7. Coordinate presentation of Firm proposals for new clients and renewals.
8. Market Firm resources to potential clients in the field.
9. Travel to and attend client meetings and client related events and activities
(both political and charitable).
10. Build new and maintain existing relationships with officials
administrators and boards.
11. Substantive and periodic analysis and knowledge of delinquent tax roll.
12. Substantive and periodic analysis and knowledge of collection reports.
13. Substantive and periodic analysis and knowledge of litigation files,
including title work, address research, pleadings and post-judgment events.
14. Determination and substantive analysis of office and staff performance
measures.
15. Travel to, attend and assist with tax foreclosures.
16. Periodic reporting of collection activities, performance and staff
performance to managing attorney.
17. Assist with any and all collection activities to ensure proper and efficient
execution of collection program.
18. Prepare annual budget with assistance of Office Manager and monitor
budget throughout fiscal year.
19. All other duties assigned.

20. Periods of sitting while doing office work, driving to clients, events,
court delinquent tax property locations.
21. Position requires working primarily out of the Firm’s Corpus Christi
Office.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
