We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team at the Hobby Airport Coffee Shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the coffee shop's operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, quality, and efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of managing a high-volume environment and fostering a positive team culture.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of baristas and support staff.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly.
- Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and maintenance.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Analyze financial performance, prepare reports, and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, payroll, and budgeting.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
