Position Summary:
As the Sales Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our sales operations, collaborating closely with the Vice President of Sales and Sales Managers. Your mission: to revolutionize sales administration and analysis by establishing and streamlining policies, fostering best practices, and optimizing the entire sales process. Dive into a world of data analysis, reporting, process management, sales support, and dynamic communication with our sales teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare & manage key selling season reports for the Independent Channel, including all show reporting.
- Data reporting as directed by VP of Sales.
- Answering sales rep questions regarding their accounts and providing reporting to sales reps to better manage their territories.
- Identifying opportunities for enhanced or streamlined processes.
- Become proficient in utilization of all reporting/data systems.
- Trade show planning and management; monitoring project planner to ensure key stakeholders remain on task and timelines. Coordinating hotel accommodations for Sullivans employees.
- Temporary trade show coordination (Sullivans + Woodstock).
- Attending and selling at trade shows as needed.
- Sales support for Canadian sales & marketing group.
- Communication to sales teams; bulletins, updates, etc.
- Collaborate with Marketing on developing and distributing sales support materials (customer and/or sales presentations).
- Maintain rep information database.
- Management of data in CRM (Atlas).
- General administrative support.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Actively communicate with sales team to support sales and provide resources to achieve sales goals.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven Sales Administration experience, preferably in the wholesale home goods or consumer products industry.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales performance data.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, sales reps and staff members.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Time and project management experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
